Work Experience Career Exploration Program Student Podcast
The student podcast my students recorded is too large for the wiki page. The student podcast is located on my flashdrive. Senior, Jonathan, and junior, Jessica, recorded encouraging and instructional words for my freshmen. Jonathan asks the freshmen if they want to graduate from high school, college, a technical school, or get a job right out of high school. He then asks them if they have the necessary tools to be a successful student. Jessica tells the students that she and Jonathan have been there and know what it takes to succeed. They then alternate offering advise on planning for tomorrow, getting homework done, managing materials, and taking tests. Jessica closes her portion of the podcast by assuring the freshmen that they have been given some great advice. Jonathan closes the podcast by sharing that the advice worked for him and he is graduating in June. Jonathan's final words are, "Remember, no matter what year you are in school, your learning and success in school depends on how well you manage your time, manage your materials, use your study skills, and take tests. It's up to you." The background music to the podcast is "Good Riddance" by Green Day.
